FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — September 1, 2026 — Professional Plumbing, Inc., a family-run, veteran-owned plumbing company serving Orange County since 1985, has been named a finalist for the 2026 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics by BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest. The company will be recognized alongside other Orange County and Inland Empire finalists at the awards ceremony on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hilton Irvine Crystal Ballroom, 18800 MacArthur Boulevard, Irvine.
The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics represent one of the highest honors the Better Business Bureau bestows on a business. The program recognizes companies that demonstrate a sustained commitment to ethical practices, honest customer service, and integrity in the marketplace. Finalists are nominated by the community and evaluated by a panel of independent judges on their character, culture, and treatment of customers, employees, and community.
Professional Plumbing was selected as a finalist in Category 3 after a panel interview and video segment with the awards judges on June 23, 2026 at the Hilton Irvine.
A 41-year record of the same standard
Professional Plumbing was founded in 1985 by William J. Horsky Jr., a U.S. Navy veteran, as a one-person operation working out of a single pickup truck in Orange County. Forty-one years later, the company still operates under the same ownership and the same set of customer-facing commitments: 24-hour availability, a two-hour service window, and a written price before repair work begins.
The company operates local offices in Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach, with each office serving its own city rather than dispatching every job from a central hub. Finalists are nominated by the community, screened by BBB, and judged by an independent panel on the strength of their ethical practices, culture, and community impact. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 29, 2026, hosted by BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest.
